Picking the right file in Releases

Each release carries 20+ files. Choose by system, or use our download page:

Windows	photocraft-0.7.0-windows-x64.msi (most PCs)
macOS	photocraft-0.7.0-macos-universal.dmg (Apple silicon and Intel)
Linux	photocraft-0.7.0-linux-x86_64.AppImage (or .deb / .rpm / .flatpak)
Command line	photocraft-cli-0.7.0-macos-universal.zip
Web	photocraft-web-0.7.0.zip (self-hostable WebAssembly build)
Checksums	SHA256SUMS.txt

Building from source

Install the Rust toolchain (rustup) first, then from the repository root:

git clone https://github.com/storytold/photocraft
cd photocraft
cargo run --release -p photocraft -- image.psd   # the desktop app
cargo test --workspace                           # the test suite

Japanese fonts for the UI and Type tool come from the optional craft-fonts repository; without it the build still works and uses your system’s CJK fonts.

Writing a useful issue

Search for duplicates first.
Give your OS and version, the PhotoCraft version and your graphics card.
Attach the image size, layer count and a screenshot; steps to reproduce help most.
For feature requests, name the Photoshop feature you mean.
